does mixvibes Cross have amputate mode?

I am very interested in purchasing mixvibes Cross and love the demo...the one major question is, does mixvibes have amputate mode (where you can use one turntable instead of 2, with same effects). I know that Torq and Serato have this feature and if mixvibes does I am about ready to purchase!

THoughts?

There is a bypass mode where you can choose wether to use the timecode or your source (CD, Vinyl). So you can play the timecode on one deck and another track via CD or vinyl.

Greetings,

Steve

Cross doesn't have that yet, but you can accomplish that in DVS/Producer.

After talking to the developpers... i have a new update.

Instant doubles : not available yet

Amputate : available; All you need to do is switch the active letter in the header (top of the software interface) of Cross.

Let's say i only have my tunrtable number 1 active, I can switch the virtual player i wish to control to "A"back and forth to always mix with the same TT :D

i realize this may be alittle late as far as information to everybody else but i am using dvs7 and have started using it with only one turntable.. i have been using serato instant doubles and i loved it, so when playing with features and what not i stumbled on doubles for DVS. deck 1 is on my left and the vynl option is off, on my right is deck 2 with the vynl option on. load deck 2 and while playing load deck 1 with same track and they copy each other , match the volume and drop deck 2 and load next track. now i don't know if serato can do this with videos but i know i can't get videos to do it. can't hve my cake and eat it too i guess

This sounds like a cool feature!
Is something like this planned for Producer too?
The Instant double way which djpat describes works but couldt be easier to handle...
A extra button to change if the Timecode (from one single TT)
gets routed to Player 1, Player 2 or all Players wouldt be really nice!
