Hello Mixvibers,

I purchased the Cross 4 months ago wanting to utilize my 1200's. I have tried everything with no luck. I have been djing since 81' and have setup and broke down DJ sets since then. I have been researching the vci-100 it seems exciting. Can I use the UK46 with the 100. I hope this works. I just purchased new laptop and I am ready for rock. Please send any additional info that would help. Also, will I be able to use effects or can I implement the BOSS 404. Thanks.

The VCI will work just fine with Cross and the U46. There aren't any effects within Cross, so using your Boss pedal would be the way to go.

VCI-100 and Cross Pack are real solid combo that i can recommend if you are looking for a professional level mobile DJ set-up.

BTW, phade did you receive your VCI yet ??

Yessir! Just upgraded the firmware on it, arcade buttons will be installed within the next couple of weeks. Thanks again!

so where did you getr the moding geaer and manual ? from djtechtools ? I am thinking a bout purchasing a brand new VCI, my old one was a battered refurbished i got for free... but i'm thinking that with the new MIDI improvements i might want to go back to the VCI (instaed of a VCM)

Oh yeah, DJTT all the way when it comes to VCI mods. Tons of good resources there
