[RELEASE] Cross 1.3 available 24.12.2009 - Merry Christmas!

The MixVibes Team is proud to announce the official 1.3 Cross update. After months of hard work, MixVibes is pleased to be able to lay this update under your Christmas tree, since you will be able to put your hands on it starting from December 24th.. (But please don't skip the Christmas meal! )

Cross 1.3 is a powerful update geared towards offering a realistic vinyl and CD feel in all control modes:

- Accurate scratch in all playback modes: absolute, relative, master tempo, hybrid.

- Skip-free mixing with the new anti-skip feature (in relative mode).

- Drift-free vinyl control for accurate scratching and beat juggling now in all modes.

- Silent Peak/BPM analysis of tracks to avoid any audio drop-outs or GUI micro freezes.

- Optimized light GUI to avoid overcharging the processor.

Besides, MixVibes has another surprise for you! We just made a new exclusive video of almighty DJ TROUBL’ ruling Cross Pack (Featuring Cross 1.3).

I forgot that i upgraded and played out on Saturday using 1.3 and i cant complain. 2 hour set went smooth

Mixed two sets for the radio station and it worked totally smooth and stable. I think it will continue that way Yeah!

I used the 1.3 last night... worked stable. I noticed some minor artefacts while CPU is working at high load. but noone else seemed to take a notice... Browsing the mediabase is improoved sensationally. Until 1.3 I had the problem that turning back from the full-text-search to the full mediabase took up to 30 seconds (!). Now it takes approx. 1 second THANKS A LOT!!! But the behaving of the mediabase got worse. If you do the quicksearch in the whole mediabase it was possible to search for a song, click on it and then change into searching for the artist of this song. Following all songs of this artist were displayed. Now the mediabase does ... i don't know... weird things. It just begins sorting at a new point. and thats a big minus... Before you could also do a "2-step-sorting". For example: sort for bpm, then sort for genre... this lead to a sorting where all analysed songs within the chosen genre are displayed. In 1.3 there's nothing left of this... :-( I loved that feature... it's gone. And my vci-100 wants the button for leaving a loop reanimated...
I will do a second testing tonight...
