Gizmo, from the infamous DJ gear-review website, skratchworx sent me a video review he made of the ION Discover DJ including Cross DJ software.

This seems to b e agreat bundle for beginners and aspiring scratchers

I'm tempted to pick one up, they look pretty fun.

are there any set limitations on the Cross version supplied with this i.e Le ver,, the price $99 and software also Would the Cross updates be avaible Seems good for what your are getting ,but what you dont get

From what I can tell, it looks like you won't be getting vinyl/cd control since it has the same appearance as Cross DJ, which happens to be MIDI only. And as is typical with Mv's LE line, I'm going to assume you won't be able to use Cross LE without the ION plugged in. Updates are always available + free

It's a pity for a DJ hardware not to have a pitch.

Limitations of Cross DJ limited edition in bundle with the Ion Discover Controller:

Cross DJ le open only if the controller Ion Discover is plugged.
There are only treble & bass in the equalizer (no medium)
No vinyl or cd control
MIDI limited to Ion Discover.

The monitor function is fully enabled as in Cross
