How are you guys using Mixvibes with Ableton Live? On the same computer, at the same time?

Yep. Same Machine, same time!
One of the awesome things about MV.

It's possible, but from all the tests I've run I've found that it's not worth it if you're using vinyl (for the time being).

1. No global clock, Ableton can't sync with MV which leads to a world of issues (if you're a quantize whore like me at least :P)

2. Latency, latency, latency. I haven't tested latency on a firewire card using Ableton + MV, but after using various USB cards I would highly recommend not wasting your time.

If you reeeeeeally want to, follow Bentosan's tutorial from DJTT and substitute MV for Traktor.

yeah the quantize/global clock would be a bonus in MV.Would be awesome if they put that feature from Rekord box into Cross!....
Really cant use it on a usb card(usb-12mb p/s data max vs FW - 400 mb p/s) but it struggles abit on mine too whenver i stuff around with it (mine lappy is like equiv to a P4 2.2ghz).i wouls like to try it on a quad core PC! probably be a lot less laggy then!
