Configuration problems.DJ Teck vinyl rev. 20 - dvsle

I just bought the vinyl revolution pack USB 20 with a DJM-404 mixer, and there seems to be some disagreement between us :)

The way it looks from my p.o.v:

Both decks are working properly when playing only one at the time. But when i play both simultaneously they interrupt eachother, no matter where the crossfadior is set (1-2). And there is a slight difference in the volume between the channels.

Asio4all is already installed.

I have a std. internal soundcard, and the USB soundcard connected.
Deck1 is connected to the USB. When spinnig only deck1 everything
looks ok. Same with the opposite deck :) But when spinning deck1 with the crossfader set to 1 and then when starting deck 2, i`m suddenly listening to both songs simultanously even if the crossfade is set to 1..
Help?...........Anyone?

Posting the configuration report as well...

Hi Parafrodo-
On the DVS panel, on the standard carbon skin, there is a small box on both channels which you can click on and select the output to preferred channel. I suspect both the decks are outputting on CH1. On the second deck, click on the small box that has the #1 on it, and it will change to '2'.
Sorta hard to describe accurately to you, but im sure you will work it out!
Hope this helps...as for volume difference between channels, could be cables...
Hope ive helped you out.

What you answered was one of the first things we tried. On the first day of the problem..We are now on day 9 and we have been working hard every day..

I've got both decks set to channel 1 and 2 in the program. Still the sound is coming through the same channel (eigther 1 ore 2).

The way it looks from my p.o.v:

Both decks are working properly when playing only one at the time. But when i play both simultaneously they interrupt eachother, no matter where the crossfadior is set (1-2). And there is a slight difference in the volume between the channels.

It could maybe be the souncards interrupting eachother...? somehow....? The sounds play over eachother.

Any idea?

Hi,

Can you please post a config report file? We'll check what's wrong. In the mean time did you try to play both channels controlled by a timecoded vinyl record?

To me, It sounds like it could be a soundcard conflict;As N-deep has posted;

Looks like your soundcards ALSO have different line level outputs. Dont know if you can adjust these levels, as all soundcards are different in regards to audio level output. Most people will use just one card to prevent these problems.
I have run 2 different internal cards together in a desktop, and had lots of headaches, got sick of it - gave up and purchased a multi ch soundcard....
I gather that in the settings, you have chosen multiple soundcard option, and then routed the inputs/outputs from each card to the desired inputs/outputs? (hope that last line makes sense)

You use the same inputs for the 2 decks:
- Go to vinyl options.
- Change the inputs of the deck B.
