well fianialy down loaded the Cross demo different set up,missing a lot of features that are in home, expected,, what realy pulzed was trying to figure out the monitoring section you guessed it,,, have two internal sound cards, creative sound blasterx-fi platumiun fatality ,,legecy audio, and the usb sound doggle,, in the audio section of preferences tab all three are reconized,, tried all of the sound card to mixer routing tabs and none of them set up the usb as a monitor card, maybe missing something, ,,prior to this i did download the Viterual d j demo and the monitor section was set up properly,,didnt like the program otherwise, any insight would be helpful dont think this is because of the limitations placed on the demo

might If you donwloiad asio4all driver, and follow the instruccions of GAKTO tutorial of that driver, that solves the proble,

thanks for the reply,briefly looked at the totorial, didnt see how asio 4 all gives more control of the sound cards to seperate the monitor section(cue??) to the second sound card weather it be one of the two internal or the third external usb sound doggle, will play around with it a little later,, thanks for the help

well i guess i move this thread back to the top need more info on how asio affects the creative sound card dont want to start messing around with drivers and lose the ability to listen to music from my comp since home 7 issues are moot the its time to look foward and keep trying to find something that will give me the ability to make the music

Cross is intended for multi-cahnnel sound cards; it doesn't function with 2 different sound interfaces (yet). this is a possible upgrade in the future... the main focus being vinyl and CD these days
