Thats interesting. I have watched that video about a dozen and 1/2 times now and not till now did i learn that MV had a hand in devloping the record box software....Shame on you Pioneer for not making a point to mention that in any of the videos.

It is writen on the software skin that RekordBox is powered by Mixvibes. This is one of the good parts of the deal.
RekordBox is clearly made with & for Pioneer technical specifications. Will Cdj2000 & cdj900 users find RekordBox useful is the main question with of course no answer yet.

In my own opinion : bundle is cool with Cross, but prices are really really really too high... I think lot of home Djs will wait prices decrease before buying this kind of decks.

ReKordBox isn't Cross. ReKordBox make & copy a very good media base with all it's components on an usb key and send instructions to Cdj2000 & Cdj900.
There is a market whatever the price feel high & maybe Pioneer got some ideas to delight (later) or to decline these functions to an another range of products.

A lot of yacht or sport cars are sold, I love them even I can't afford them.
If we chat freely about the cdj2000, it's because we feel there is something new & interesting. That's one main point to understand.
A software able to manage a controller without an added computer is something new. Mixvibes powered it!

Is it me, or does the guy in the CDJ video look sorta like Jon Lajoie?
