This afternoon I tried to install asio4all driver knowing that its far better then the standard u46mkII driver. I did everything by the book and I was testing for a while. To be honest i think my latency was worse then before so I decided to switch back to standard driver. Here the problems started! I deleted asio4all and installed 1.0.41 from the DVS 7.218 update folder, and sth like never before happened. the DVS nor Cross cant find the driver just like a have nothing installed. I tried switching on and off plug unplug and nothing. Then I installed asio4all again and it was ok except that i hade only channel 3456 and no 12 and it was sooo strange so i didn't worked again! And since then nothing works!!!!!!!!!!
I AM SOOO FRUSTRATED!!!!!!

really strange....
you can try by phisically remove the sound card and clean the registry manually from everything related to the asio4all drivers and the old drivers and after that you can reinstall everything from a fresh point of start...most probably something remains in the registry or some dll in the drivers folder.

ASIO4ALL is better than the original driver, or i think so at least... its worth a bash... drains your system a little less.
