Hi Mixvibes people!
I wanted to ask you guys about my configuration.
I got a Vestax vci-100 and Cross from mixvibes. My problem is that my sound ain't very good. My soundcard atm is a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1.
How good do you think it is ?
If not, what do you recommand ?

uhm....it depends on what do you mean for the sound not very good.
before change the sound card you can try by downloading the Asio4all drivers and trying by setting the samples buffer a little bit higher, this will produce more latency but reduce the load on cpu/sound card that can produce a non-perfect sound.

try with these drivers, you can find it here http://www.asio4all.com/

I guess to me, the sound isn't very clear ...
Can't wait to try those drivers, hope it will eventually fix the problem.
If this doesn't help, I will consider changing this creative %#$@!€

in original creative drivers for your sb incl. support of asio 2.0 mode, but if you don't have this..;
agree with previous post, maybe try suggested sooundcars by MixVibes, you feel the difference in quality and performace immediately, 4sure:)

Ive got a roland FA66, and the sound is superb, and it comes with a pricetag too; but i LOVE to have good, punchy dynamic sound when i play. It was worth every cent and never failed me. There are lots of cheaper options that will sound heaps better than your creative card for sure!

Thanks for the soundcards comparison link.
I finnaly decided to get the U46 following the advices and being in my price range
Just have to wait for delivery now, yAy. I hope MV will get distributed in Norway someday
I'll keep you informed of my new configuration!
