HI THERE! Well MixVibes is best DVS program on the market so you need that, MixVibes DVS, MixVibes Cross, whatever you will choose. Because you are going with house music it is smarter for you to get CDJ's and a good mixer. Probably best solution will be MixVibes DVS Pack mkII with Pioneer cdj's and Pioneer mixer.

I'd say you've got it all messed up, the title says you want
to be a deejay, but the description you give, is that one
of a beatmaker, you want to make beats...
i'd advice you to-if you want to use mixvibes- to purchase
the producers edition. If you'd do so you could make beats
with the sampler that is inside te program, if you also
buy a midi-controller (which will let you tap the sounds on pads)
you could use this to perform beats live and you'd also be able
to make beats at home using either mixvibes, or software
that focuses solely on music production, for exemple reason,
fruity loops, ...

personally i'd advice you to purchase a simple music production program, so you can get the hang of that one before you proceed
onto programs like reason that can run novices quite a bit :P
get onto youtube or google and search all the info you can get
about "beatmaking"...

whatever you do, good luck with it, also, for beatmaking with mixvibes, a competition was going on a while ago in which it
said what you had to use with mixvibes to make beats..
