Was wondering if any of you have used the Xone 2D as your primary sound card interface with a Mix Vibes DVS (Cross/Producer etc..). Seriously considering purchasing Cross (now that it has vinyl controll) and using it w/my Xone 2D.

i haven't one, but be careful, the xone 2D is ont mapped yet  you have to wait the MIDI learning feature (wich is coming just after the vinyl control ;) ]

Mostly concerned with the vinyl control part. What kind of latencies people get w/the Xone 2D etc...
I'll get Producer though if MIDI mapping is easier.

Hi,

I bought Cross 2 out of the Mac App Store. I could set up the MIDI Map without problems but I can´t configure the audio input and output channels because the programm wouldn´t recognize the device (just mac built-in).

I have installed the latest driver and everything is set up correctly (Audio-Midi-Setup) - iTunes is running with it.

The Firmware is updated as well... Can anyone help?

I found this in the Allen & Heath Forum:

"So! I just received an answer from A&H support. And the statement is — — — Xone:2D
drivers are by-passing OS X CoreAudio/CoreMIDI, so the aggregation can't work by
design."

Has anyone a workaround, something like ASIO4All on Windows? I´d like to use the Xone 2D as timecode interface...

As we relay on the operating system handling of devices, if you can't see it into Applications/Utility/Audio & MIDI configuration, there is unfortunately nothing we can do to make it available into the software.

A case won't don't handle I guess : without the hardware there is nothing that can be fixed.
