That's pretty crazy. I wondered if the fader was altering the pitch of the audio (post turntable) but at one point you can se the digital pitch read out on the turntable changing as he moves the fader up and down. Looks like the cross-fader is mapped to the turntables pitch adjust...

I'm more interested in the talk box he was using...

JohnBeez is a clever chap. Being a strong and tireless proponent of Vestax's Controller One MIDI turntable combo, his mind clearly went off on a related tangent and set about making his flight of fancy into a reality. The result is a Vestax PMC06, where the whole crossfader is mounted on a rail mechanism which itself is a MIDI pitch fader. Genius.

Ahhh I've heard about this. Really nice implementation. Talkbox on the C1 is really fun, there are a couple methods I've heard of using the MIDI. :)

Hi everybody!

I am doing the same with the PITCHSHIFT command which i mapped to a MIDI keyboard. Its really cool to play melodies...

But is there a way to use PITCHSHIFT as a "relative" command?
Depending of the actual Pitch(Speed)change?
