Wish list for all new version of Mixvibes DJ software

Postby Grant Carlisle on 05 Jan 2009, 02:03

Hey People!
I have been using Mixvibes since about 99-2000. I started off using
V 2.0 and from the Time Pro 5 came out till now. I have been using it, it has always worked Flawlessly in my opinion truly the best DJ software on the Planet, to Make a long story short a a couple months ago for no apparent reason the software started skipping when exiting loop. I have honestly been beating my head trying to fix this problem. I have been running my system completely optimized to work with the program including a complete re-install of my XP O.S. I just ordered Home 7 and am waiting to receive, However on the new software i wish there was a way to pan left or right on each channel so that you could just run a Y splitter like you use to be able to on all the older versions. so that all of the poor/broke ass starving DJ's such as myself did not have to take the extra steps to purchase any additional hardware such as U.S.B. sound card or audio interface. I think that this would actually increase the amount or people buying and using the under lined Software.

let me know what you think?

Also I will be Playing a Couple Shows down at the W.m.c. in Miami this year who should i talk to about doing some sponsors for the show. last year we played a show at Buck 15 and were ranked 2 as best bets for Wednesday March 26th 2008 as ranked by Miami.com

Plus i know that in the time i have used the software.I have personally turned at least 20 diffrent people on to the program.

Best regards

hi Grant Carlisle....Welcome to the mixvibes community

if you think that pro 5 is good wait to you get mixvibes 7
I not like the idea of the Y spit ...because
1]...if you do this your running a bad mono....your headphono will be mono left & your master output will run mono right
you lose the sound clarity & definition
2]...sound card are so cheep now you don't need to do the Y spit mono thing

Great! Mv 7 is much more precise than the old Mv5. Did you try the demo of Cross?

Hey  welcome, like m v also . have you tried using m v without a external mixer, Numark came out with a cheap no monitor mixer back in the 70,(talk about not having monie),do not understand how they missed the beat on this,, upgrade my comp this year, specific was to have the best sound card reasonable, D j ed in new york city in the late 70's when rap was in its infant stages, when scratching first started, keep at it ,the music is in your blood

I always just like playing through an external mixer makes me feel a little more in controll. So far i love Home 7 like i said i have been using pro5 for the past 3 years so this is a real treat for me. Know i'm just waiting for my Usb soundcard to come in and i'll post a couple new live sets.

If you guys are wanna hear any of the old sets that i made with Mv.5 and a combo of CDJ's there posted in my blogs at.
