ok first off if you look up Forum Rules: "Write in concise and precise ENGISH" .... this would be great if people could follow this rule cause for the past like couple of weeks i cant read anything on this message board! well maybe i should learn french lol but thats not going to happen. ok besides all that... the broken 7.2 update that has been takin down. The fixed update, will it be available for download only to the people that download the broken 7.2 before? or will the Fixed 7.2 update be available to everyone? One of the last posts i was able to read lol said it would be up by Monday the 8th of dec. and i havnt seen anything up yet hmmmm... this is why im wondering if this is the issue.

Hi beatchemist,

On behalf of Mixvibes let me apologise for the incontinence, Version 7.210 is now in testing to ensure bug correction and to further iron out other minor bugs that have been spotted in the last update. Let me assure you that the Betatest team and the Mixvibes development team do strive for perfection however mistakes unfortunately do get made.

The Mixvibes betatesting scheme has undergone some radical changes as of late resulting in the loss of some fine betatesters due to lack of time (or whatever reason) to fulfil the new requirements and responsibilities that testers now have... be assured, in a very short time the betatesting scheme will be back into 100% action, the new update of 7.210 will be available as soon as possible.

Please continue to use version 7.100 as it is the most stable release for now... we thank you for your patience on this issue,

Regards,
Bryan

I want to remind to all of our user that MixVibes provides "Free" updates, so please, don't be harsh with us.

We apologize for inconveniences with this 7.2 release, but be sure that we are working hard to publish a fix as soon as possible.

And please, speak english

Thanks

==> On continue ce topic en anglais svp, les posts en francais seront à présent modérés.

Merci à tous

Ok we speak english but why don't you create 2 topics one in French and the other in English like you did before ???

Everybody can understand and that be cool for everybody !

Thanks to think about it because I'm not sure everybody understand english or french.

me to ....out of 22 post , all but one is in french
can someone give us a rundown please

update on the previous posts in French (I haven't double checked all of these) :

Ptichampy reports not being able to control a track in ALL reltiv vinyl mode with the first few seconds of the vinyl.

Flomo has issues with switching out of vinyl bypass mode. Apparently he can still hear/play analog vinyl, even when he is not in bypass mode

quiq007 reports issues when he pauses a vinyl and changes the pitch value, resuming play results in key distortion apparently

Regarding the general issue with the release of 7.2

MixVibes has arrived to a stage of complexity where it is virtually impossible to find all the bugs on new releases even with our great team of Betatesters. In order to respect the highest level of professionalmism and reliability, we will be providing public release candidate versions from now on before releasing official versions - A release candidate version is a version that has received beta testing but still needs confirmation from the community of users to be validated in an official release or fixed - We are calling on your help to validate future release candidates into official releases.

What to do with a release candidate :

We ask you to install these versions in separate folders so you can easily downgrade to the previous version if you wish. We also strongly advise you only use these versions for personal use and not in a public or professional situation. The Official release is always available for your performances.

We also ask you to report all bugs and issues in the appropriate forum so we can fix these. If the bugs are minor (no real stability issue, etc) The RC version can be directly validated into an official release

We are very proud and optimistic about the improvements of the 7.2x version, the improvement list is very significant and am sure will give you great satisfaction, however we count on your support and feedback to wrap up the version and make it as bug-free as possible to make your performances safer than ever.

the 7.21x Release candidate will be released within 24 hours, I've been testing it for 24hours and it seriously rocks. I'm actually going to do a big no no and play out with it tonight !
