Numark DXM06 (X6)

Hey you guys!!! I am about to buy a new Numark X6 mixer, but before I do, I would like a little discussion about it.
So what do you think is it worth it, is qualified for the professional work, is it reliable and durable, etc.!?

By the way another question. If a mixer has a wet/dry knob for the purpose of the crossfader (I hope it is for that), will it let the effects, from the MixVibes software after you put the fader on the other channel (for efx scratching I am asking), still go and listen or it is totally for other purpose!? Please answer me this it is very important!!!

Bye you guys from DJ NB ;)

Peace :D

not my specialty so i wouldn't be the best person to ask. Numarck is pretty good however at making mixer that satisfy both hip hop and electro crowds. can't say I've ever tested the X06 in detail...

Anyone out there ???? Image

Be sure there is a nice Cross fader. Test it or be sure you can add an "X-fade" crossfader used by most scratch DJ.

I think Uncle meant the ProXFade crossfader. I have one in my Vestax and it's tons better than the original fader.

This fader is easy to find or it is some kind of rare fader which can be found only for some mixers?

There's a few different types of aftermarket faders, here's a couple links for you.

ProXFade:

Innofader:

why'd you pick that mixer?

I suppose its for the effects. i've spun on the regular dxm06 (not the x6) and it is not very good for scratching. but mixvibes already has effects in it?

i suggest an audio innovate aem100i, if you are willing to spend an extra $100. it has a very good crossfader for scratching and even some effects (not as many as the x6). or even a dxm pro if you like Numark.

if you don't want to spend more, the stanton SA5 is a very solid mixer. it will not break down on you and you can put an innofader in it if you don't like the crossfader.
