Serato is boring

I got really tired of seeing everyone else do so much more than just play music, so I sold the serato, the ttm 56, and a bunch of other gear and went out and bought myself a hercules rmx of all things. At least i can take it with me when I travel for work. Which has been so much lately that I never got to use any of my equipment at home. 21 ms of latency later and i'm a MIDI DJ :) ( i guess...) I'm ordering the pro version as soon as the last of my ebay stuff sells. So anybody else using the RMX??? It's a cool little device which was pretty inexpensive. Planning to get a vci-100 also and run thru rmx, any thoughts???

Hi Drimachus, welcome to the mixvibes forum.

Indeed the RMX is a pretty slick portable DJ device. Great for mobile DJing and actually a pretty impressive build. I haven't had the chance to use it with MixVibes pro yet... So I can't tell you much more.

The VCI-100 + MixVibes PRO is a really solid bundle. It really give you all the controls to take full advantage of the sampler and adjustable FX. The MIDI Cross fader allows you to do video mixing too :D

Got the thing running, had to do default audio input and then out of headphone on laptop. Got latency down to 39 ms. Kinda impressive for info going back and forth on one usb cable and then scratching with those little wheels. Not like a turntable but fun, though. Working on modding the jog wheels into something a bit bigger.
