Yo Abitmeisse, Thans for letting us know more about yourself.

Since you are IT engineer, do you have any specific tips on tweaking your OS ? Do you still run XP or are you on VISTA ?

Hey Polocop
Yeah man i run a tight ship as far as my OS goes, personally i run XP but my own build which has been done through many trial and errors, cant see myself going to vista for an audio machine tried a couple of times and keep going back to

What i will do is put together a how to guide over the next few days there is so many services to be stopped & disabled there is also a number of registry changes to make the PC run perfect for audio both mixivbes and other apps such as ableton, Ill post it in the tips section of the forum

i just wish someone could come up with a stripped down ultra-light windows installer... Installing a light Win should not take a day of research/fiddling around
