'Stickers!' - is that part of the beta testing process? :D

I'll beta test those if I'm sent some!

Well, If I can find quality A4 sticker sheets in multiple colors, I can cut out some, and stick them on to the controller with a little text on it showing how I mapped stuff.

Sometime I complitely remap controllers, and It's hard to figure it out, without aid of text :D

And if you map a piana keyboard like I did on my Akai MPK Mini, it's helpful to know what does what :D

Yes.

Cross will come both in 32bit and also in 64bit, as well as MAC, featuring much better sampler and loctor arrangement, and four players.
Also the audio will support more outputs.

BTW I think there has been major improvements in the code of the Software. It runs smoother and quicker, even opens up faster although Betas are famous for unstable workflow :D
And as far as I know, know crash because of stability problems so far :D

  as for the stickers and text for the mappings ,, maybe a little bit more work, but a bulid sheet ,,akin to a mapping template ,, if you used the DVS system there where key board mapping looking like keyboards with text in the keys to differenate between the mappings  tried to find a editable key board template to cataloge my changes to the original mapping ,,no luck with that endevor,,maybe the resources have changed and can aid you in your delima  wound up saving a cheat sheet for the changes on computer to use when i needed to remember them

daniel clark wrote::cool:  just curious how its going to be implemented

 MIDI controller and two t c turntables for the other two decks  then what about the sampler feature and all the sample storedoh wow realy kool
plus one or two sample banks

the possibilities are endless :!:

Daniel, I am currious about the implementation too.

While I am sure the Mixvibes team will do a great job, my concern lies more with the controller posibilities.

Let's face it the UMCP-2 is a great controller, however (IMHO) the CrossDJ/Cross software has outgrown this controller.

I am currently supplementing the UMCP-2 with two Quneo MIDI controllers.

On the left is Quneo #1 controlling Sampler C and Player A, just for the pad functions and other things not mapped in the UMCP-2. (like individualy trigerred loops and all 8 sample pads with bigger pads and grouped for performance)

In the middle is the UMCP-2 with all its current fuctions.

On the right is Quneo #2 controlling Player B and Sampler D in the same configuration as Quneo #1.

This set up is working great, however, with the addition of 2 additional decks (assuming a total of 4 deck each with 8 locators and 2 samplers) I am looking for an all in one controller. iam thinking about the DDJ-SX.

The problem with the DDJ-SX is that there is no official or un-official full mapping to Cross. I know some people are working on it but nothing that has been shared yet and the output mapping for LED control in Cross needs to grow a bit to be more user friendly.

I am hesitant to spent 1000.00 USD on a controller that I am not certain it will work with Cross.

Also I can get into output mapping and done so with the Quneos but I think this section could be implemented with a little more automatization from Cross to make it more user friendly like the input MIDI mapping section.

I think Mixvibes would do great to come up with an updated controller that is perhaps bigger in size but fully mapped to the software. I know I would jump on that if it existed. I also know about controllers like the VCI-380 and 400 but they present somewaht the same problems when looking at the output section

Note: My comment are not intended to be controversial and just apply to my particular workflow. Others may agree or disagree but I don't mean to offend or make anyone angry. Just my 2 cents.
