 suggest you read the manual ,, pleanty of useful info on basic set up and config,, not familiar with mac os ,, but one thing i see is that in the gui you have the master /mix knob in the full clockwise opostion ,, enabling tou to hear both master out and monitor out ,or prefade listening ,, on/enabled ,, ,also doesnt seem that you are using both outputs from sc ,, might be wrong ,, will look again ,
if you are using the U-Mix44 aggreate sound card set up is not nessary ,, gonna look at the pic again

wrong about the outputs ,, you are monitoring thru the sc , i think ,, similiar to the umcp2 ,

Daniel,

I have read the manual, that is why I am posting here.
If you sell software for Mac's, you should support it regardless of unfamiliarity.

Turning the mix knob up or down does not switch to Cue / Master. It is playing both Master and cue channels with the knob turned in either direction.

In the Mac MIDI panel when I use the sound test feature (pressing the speaker icon), it plays the test sounds correctly with:
1+2 playing through monitors
3+4 playing through headphones
I think this indicates that the MIDI/Soundcard functionality for OS is working correctly, and that the error may be with the Mixvibes Driver and/or software with Mac?

Hi, all software is supported. Just not all users use Mac, like me, so will not have the common knowledge to provide supported in the right terms. Nevertheless trying to help is the idea to get you started asap.

If you register your license in your user profile you will have access to the latest driver and software. This will be a good start.

It will also open other forums where other users have similar questions answered.

You seem to have the right channels as output and the Dual Stereo as mode.
Now in the GUI, turn the knob fader for Mix fully left. This should avoid the master mix routed to the headphone.
Make sure preview at the right bottom (next to track rack) is disabled.

Disable the headphones in the deck equalizer section.
When you now play a track it should only be audible via the master channel (speakers).
Keep the deck playing. Move the Cross fader to the empty deck. Enabled headphone for the playing (might want to decrease volume first).
This should provide headphone volume only.

If you now slide back the Cross fader the master (speakers) should be audible to.
Ronald

Thank you for the prompt reply and attentive support.

I will apply these settings and test right away and post the results shortly.

If I have downloaded Cross DJ from the Mac App Store- will I have a serialization key? I have the software version included with U-Mix 44, but I should receive new updates via the Mac App store yes?

Ok, I have registered the key and also confirmed that I am using 3.2.1.
Were you able to view the video link and confirm that it is a bug fix?

You do not mention that you downloaded the latest driver for the soundcard. It is not part of Cross, as Cross runs using any soundcard.

it is also available in the downloads section.

The Cross 3.2.1 is the latest.

I have the U-Mix Volume panel for Mac downloaded.

There are not drivers for Mac, as it uses Core Audio.

Again, is this a bug with the software?
