If the GUI jitters you´re hardly making ends meet cpu-wise...
Think I´ll start a collection here on the board to get you a new cpu and mainboard

Luckily not:) I also have pauses in GUI, but not in sound.

I also discovered, that minor pauses in sound doesn't appear in the recordings, If I do them :)

Game Booster don't remove those services from RAM, it stopps them by reducing it's ram space, so they actually "stop", but it's easyer to restore.

Daniel: Once, I spent a whole day (8-9 hours), to experiment with my setup how stable it is:D
I also spent loads of times to tweak, maintain my stuff.
(In the end I got a "stable-like" thing, aking head, and nervous room-mates  )

On startup nothing start exept for drivers needed (even the anti virus is shut down, but I start is manually if I'm online).

With this old notebook, I get aprox 15-20 second of bootup time (including writing my Passwor in).

(+1 for Windows' built in CPU monitor Gadget app :D)
