Indeed. As I'm not a Mac user I can't tell exactly, but if you do a search you like find info on how to 'aggregate' in the forum.

BTW MIDI and audio are technically totally independent ways of communication.

If you can easily plug it in depends on the size of your jack plug...

'Audio MIDI Utility' is just apples ASIO4all, interestingly enough the xone 23c has two headphone jacks; one for 1/4" one for 3.5mm. Should make it easy going from the headphone jack on the mixer to my computers headphone jack. Thanks for all the help! Could not have figure it out otherwise!

...all I have to do is setup aggregate sound cards and I can use my setup the way I want. Thank you!!!! :D I'll edit this post with the results.

Hopefully this thread will help any others dealing with the same problem.

Then again you would need a dedicated mixer channel just for song previews though...

This is true. Wish I could send two different channels of audio out the same sound card output! I have created an aggregate soundcard, combining my xone 23c with my macs internal sound card. This gives me an extra output to support the preview feature which is routed to the 3rd output.

I think my next step would be getting some rca cables and stereo switch box. With my DVS setup, I still have 2 empty stereo channels, I am going to send the 'preview' from the headphone jack on my computer to a stereo switch box. Two rca cords going into my two empty stereo channels would let me preview without unplugging and re plugging in my headphones. I will just have to remember to switch the stereo box to the correct channel! Then again if I did this I would only be able to preview on an empty channel, if I am using both decks at once I won't be able to use this method.
