same problem with a old "creative soundblaster extern 24 bit"
mixvibes know the card but i can only connect 1x L+R Master.... not L+R for the Heatphones .... please help ... I bought the program and now I can not use it :-(

Does it work in Windows?
Also could be your PC setup is in a way that an other program 'owns' the channels. (e.g. voip/skype).

You could try installing virtual asio driver of ASIO4ALL.com. (beta2 is good).
select this in Cross, change settings of sc.

i install asio4all beda 2
now i can select all channels but only 1+2 gives a audio signal out... :cry:

maybe Windows 8.1 ist the problem..... but with virtual DJ 7 it works without problems.....
I realy like mixvibes and I want to use it!!!
what can i do????

8.1 is no issue. Working with that since it was out. Cross works with 8 for almost 2 years (even older version do).

In asio4all, one of right bottom buttons opens more of the asio features. You can select channels of mulitple cards (if you have). Always select what you need only as it takes performance.

It is a little hard to tell from a distance. Soundcards can be very different in behaviour/features. Some have one channel, other many, Some can be enable individual, others are paired.
Generally the more expensive the more detailed options.
Also hardware can have options, like front and back audio split or linked.

If you have internal and external soundcard, you likely can use both in ASIO4all and by that have your dual stereo setup.
