The price doesn't seem to be too much when you compare it to a Panasonic Toughbook or other ruggedized laptop. And if you want a more direct comparison, it's not that far off from the Creation Stations from Sweetwater. Those are also purpose built machines designed for use with pro audio.

Okay I see! Compared to "usual" notebooks/laptops/computers this seemed to be a too huge price. Following your hints it seems to be normal - lesson learned!

:cool: well as far as your operating system ,,not shure , but while you are on the internet please regerster your software licence key on the fourm in user control panel/profile ,,this will store said key in a secure place in case of loss or misplacement
will look into the other issues as we progress

yes ,,licence key that is on the software sleeve ,,in your profile ,, see the grey header at the top of posting page ,labeled fourm rules,,,

there isnt a grey header in this topic area ,to the right there is a tab for user control panel ,,open that tab and go to profile ,,there is a area on that page for your serial number ,,which is the software licence key #,,
