hi j-kut, what i was meant to say is, i only have CrossDJ demo 1.7.0 version & need to upgrade to 1.7.1 for the software to be compatible with my DDJ Ergo, i cant input a serial number because i haven't a purchased copy, i want to be able to try out my controller with the demo version first before purchasing the full version, hope that helps in return for some advice

Haha! nice one! What's the difference between Cross & CrossDJ? & Are they both compatible with the Pioneer DDJ Ergo?

yes,
both the same and compatible, but Cross also offers Timecode whereas Cross is MIDI (=Controller) only.

I have a discover DJ ion and unfortunately misplaced the cd which contains the serial number.. so i downloaded a mixvibes Cross DJ demo through the internet but doesn't recognize my discover DJ..can anyone help me how to set it up?? and btw i'm a beginner..
