I was reading the threads of Sandy Bridge Problems... I hope, I'll won't be dealing with the same...
I'm still thinking BTW. Too many Sandy Bridge notebooks on market...

Anotehr good advise which was written down here vey often is to better save more money than spending little money for hardware you have to deal with at least 4 to 5 years! Just my 2 cents!

My buddy has a new laptop with sandy bridge i5 CPU, and he had no problem with a Maya44. He usually use it for 3-4 hours non-stop.

Hm, shure it´s a 2nd gen i5? Also the Maya had the last driver update only 2 months ago, so maybe ESI included a workaround, just like Rane did for the SL1 and TTM57Sl. Really not shure how the U-Mixx44 will work, but the u46mk2 definetely will give you some issues one or the other way, as ESI obviously stopped developing new drivers for it You can try, but at your own risk.
