Blackbrook wrote:It is a serious problem that I had to deal with 2 years ago. At the trance energy 2004 I stood the whole evening in front of the main stage with no ear plugs in. Totally crazy if you ask me today but I can not understand why I did not protect my ears that day.
So it took me more than one week to listen clearly with no ringtones in my ears. Till that day everything was okay. Nearly one year ago, around summer 2008, I could listen to a very high frequency sound you all know as tinnitus. First it was very silently but it grew and grew. The doctor told me that it was a sudden deafness that would go by or not. I got pills that the blood in my body ran faster which killed the tinnitus. So it was a kind of light version. Till that day I am doing what my doc told me:
- Bought new high end headphones (Sennheiser)
- bought ear plugs (hear safe)
- bought in-ear headphones (AKG) for my mp3 player so I do not have to turn them on at full power
I was afraid like hell when the tinnitus came up and this teached me different things!
I wish you all the best and get well soon!
