Hey boy you are taking to much freedom to talk here and you are not even member of MV community. You are welcome here yes, but get easy a bit coz its our duty to back our licensed users, so you can't talk to Blackbrook like that. And one more thing, with buying Timecodes from MV doesn't mean that you are part of MV so again don't get to offensive, be careful a bit.

Hi DJ NB,
thanks for your answer.

I've already exposed my views about this issue, I'm glad you left your opinion too (off topic). I've also left a sugestion regarding Pre-sale users, Vs current users: Leaving a recomendation about a Members only area. About your (off) topic issue, I supose your friend can think for himself.

Yes, buying Vinyl to test a demo software (and something really new, as Cross), is not making you part of Mv Community, but myself, as someone interested, in having a opinion about it, it's a step further to commitment. At least is more commitment then, stick with keyboard actions (and act like someone really interested): It's more serious action, touching vinyl. I dont think you can re-use this mixvibes vinyl timecode in diferent package ?

If you take the time to read my post (from what I recall), you'll see:

1. I'm into music production;
2. Would be nice to, have a decent soundcard that could keep up with DVS and Production (I have a workstation, but since I may need a new soundcard for the laptop, why not have something that can let me do more then deejaying, live);
3. Budget concerns: Value the current systems I have (Soundcard is enough? No ? How much is a new one? How is that compared with a full package? Does the Mixvibes package, gives you a diferent soundcard or the same with diferent case? how is that compared with other DVS systems?) checking with market: Mixvibes Cross Package Vs NI Scratch Duo, for example;
4. I dont expect to be rude, not to get rudness when I have a legit question. In no way, I was asking for Support from Mixvibes team, but yes, an opinion about this issue from Members. No one is forced to reply back, if they do so, great;
5. As you see, there's other people interested in this topic;
6. I have a strong conviction, that the current soundcard I got, is similar, then the one franshised as Mixvibes Soundcard: From other DVS that let you test your own soundcard, I had glitches, etc. Reviews on Mixvibes give it credit, even tough is the same card. So, this lead me to believe its something about software and not hardware. So, why not to ask current users ? Maybe I dont need to buy a new soundcard, maybe I do! If so, is this the best DVS choice for me ? It is, if I can keep the same soundcard. Right? It's similar.
7. Most important, music is all about having fun. I wish I could purchase Mixvibes instantely, without any concerns, but I have to be sure, this is the proper system for me.

But yes, I dont think he's attitude was the best, but I dont expect you, or him to be nice to me, but I do ask for respect when I was polite with. Check rules below, and check the dictionary for the meanings of courteous* and helpful*!

These are the rules:

Hey heldri,

I do not know where you are from (because of shipping as mentioned some sentences later) but there are a lot of stores that offer money back guarantees. So if it is no problem to receive a package and send it back to your dealer (as a croatian user wrote here: bought it in germany and shipping costs a lot of money) why don't you test it with all the hardware delivered? I am no friend of demos because they are often very limited. So I use the dealers money back option to test software. To me this is the best way to explore a software based system.

Greetings,

Steve

Hi,
thanks for your sugestion! I didnt thinked about it, tough its displayed on product: http://www.thomann.de/gb/mixvibes_cross.htm

I have already decided, I'm going stick with Cross and keep up with this soundcard. I'm currently doing some tests with Arduinome (based on Monome), so, I've questioned Cross, on a diferent thread, on its evolution towards features of current DVS Producer (or not), because its features are pretty neat and I could take advantage on the sampler with the Arduinome controller.

This is where I have a diferent question, if using Cross with a software sampler, simultaniously, same channels (or not) will cancel sound of each other ? * this is off topic, I'll post later on *

But I'm going back to this forum, as soon as I purchase my license and have time to music.

Thanks for your time

Ok so we are not rude to you or sth and we have respect for all of you, but as a new future, hopefully, member of MixVIbes you are and will be exposed to suggestions and things that we, current, MV user think and know are important. We try to help here coz we have serato users, traktor users, Torq users and many others so why would you be an exception?! But, its not correct form you side to act to powerful to already known MV members (me & Blackbrook or anyone else for that matter). And one more thing! Please don't tell me which are the rules here coz I know them since I am MV user and member!!!

About the soundcard: I wont be writing to much just tell you this, if you scratch then get better sound card then U46 if not (playing music without scratch or just a little bit then get U46). But either way I think that U46 mkII is awesome soundcard especially with DVS 7!!!

Best wishes,

NB
