Hey Folks, I have my U-Mix Control Pro 2 controller set up to CrossDJ version 2.6 running on my MacBook Air and I can't for the life of me figure out why I'm not getting any sound out of the output or headphones! I've messed for a couple of days and it feels like it must be a very obvious solution but I can't figure it out!
I can hear audio through my laptop speakers when I set the software to "Built-in Output" but when I set to the mixer in outputs - I don't get anything going to my stereo receiver. And I never hear audio through the headphones!
What am I doing wrong!? Thanks for helping a brother out...

You need to change your audio settings within Cross to Dual Stereo.
Connect your speakers on the back of the unit to output 1/2.
Play a track and turn up the master knob. If you dont get sound from anywhere, you will need to edit your sound settings in mac audio setup... Use spotlight and search for MIDI and it comes up with a keyboard symbol.
Finally, use FrogMeter (Free program) To check whether ANY sound is going through the unit.

Thanks for the reply. I've done all of those things, including download frogmeter. There doesn't seem to be any sound passing through the mixer (headphones or outputs).
on the Audio Mini set-up - the M channel is permenantly set to 0 (I don't have the option to change that) - while 1-4 are all the way up.
I just performed twice in a row using the output of my laptop and no headphone monitor! Luckily it went well enough, but isn't a workable solution.
As stated above - the unit controls Cross DJ flawlessly, but doesn't seem to have any audio passing through it.
Thanks a lot for you continued suggestions.

Strange. Does the Mac show the U-Mix Control Pro option in Audio settings?

@Jordan, please respect the forum rules and register your CrossDJ serial in your Profile (User Control Panel > Profile) ucp.php?i=169Try downloading and installing the U-Mix Control Pro 2 Control/Volume panel. See if that helps downloads.php?cat=68

one of the benifits of regerstering your software is access to the download section , ie firmware, drivers ,also updates to software,,safly stores said key for later retrivel,,in case of system crash ,, you can re establish your software my next would be if you are willing to take advice on getting your software /hardware to run from the fourm ,,then it should be not a problem to

ok, i'm making it a goal to attempt to get to the bottom of this problem! Does it matter than I have the iTunes downloaded version of Cross-DJ? My MacBook Air has no CD drive so I didn't load the version of the software that came on disc with the mixer. I'm trying to figure out what that might have to do with anything. I am going to try to download the drivers again and see what happens...
