I need a Answer NOW

Postby Crimson Hearts on 10 Jul 2015, 18:04

I've got everything to connect a Pioneer DDJ-SB to my android device however I tried to test the otg cable out by connecting a flash drive to my SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 3 LITE but I got no response from the flash drive upon more investigation I found out that only ROOTED DEVICES support OTG and my Samsung galaxy tab 3 lite is not rooted so In other words the video tutorial on YouTube is only intendintended towards Devices that are rooted if this is true MIX VIBES should be more F-ING specific on what type of Android device can actually work with the MIDI Controllers This is probably why so many people On YouTube Keep saying there devices don't Connect to the damn Controller

if there is a very to connect it to a NON ROOTED device I suggest you MIX VIBES Should make a tutorial towards NON ROOTED DEVICES Until then I'll probably have to buy a F-ING laptop Something I don't want to do because I'll have to buy the full program and I'll have to waste more money something I didn't want to do because I don't like to carry a bunch chappy wires not only that but I'm pretty sure it has to a certain computer brand because I've only seen Mac and Apple that can handle those types of programs

I am seriously disappointed

If MIX VIBES intended Android Device to be compatible with the DJ controllers than they should say compatible with ALL android devices
Instead of getting a bunch of people's hopes up

If you're an android user and you're device is not rooted and your device doesn't connect with your Controller or you have difficulty with your Otg connection thanyou've wasted your money and time looking for the things that were needed

But if you're divice is non rooted and you managed to pull it off please let me know how you did it and what you used to connect them together

Until then MIX VIBES SHOULD BE MORE RESPONSABLE WITH WHAT THERE ADVERTISING >:(

Read your first post from last week (LINK) and saw that you did not receive an answer. Why did you buy the device if no one ever answered and confirmed that it will work? You name the music store staff "morons" which - to me - means that you have lost any base for a proper argumentation.
Contact support@mixvibes.com and see if they can help. Unless someone on here uses it for Android I cannot see a solution.
But, on a completely other topic: although mixvibes offers a software for Android that allows you to mix, don't you think if you can buy expensive Pioneer kit a laptop should do it? Just my two pennies
Viele Grüße,
Cheers,
A plus,
Steve

Only Android lollipop has official otg support.

It's up to manufacturers if there device have full featured otg connectors.

Only listed devices have support for MIDI.

If a device is not recognised it's a problem at Android level as Cross asks the Os for available devices.

I'm using Cross at windows for years. Works for me. I use higher part of middle range business laptop.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).
