OK I tried that and still no luck, I'm using windows 7 on my laptop if that's any help

you said you have tried that ,, meaning going to download section and getting a download of Cross DJ

Yeah i went to downloads and downloaded it from there and i'm still getting the same message when i try to open it

not familiar with issues pertaining to win 7 ,,just curious as to are you trying to start the software with the controller connected or not ,, also what version of the software have you downloaded and any other info that might help solve this ,,you are steeping out of my knowledge base ,, so info for others might be helpful

I've tried opening it with the controller connected and also without it connected, no difference, i downloaded version 3.2.0, hopefully someone will have a solution to this, thanks for your help so far.

have you right clicked on the software shortcut and ran as administrator ,,

If it doesn't start at startup it is worth trying to delete the mxivibes.settings file.

Located in \users\[username]\apps\roaming\mixvibes\
(W8 path, but should be some like this in W7)

You'll have to go through preferences again (but if you can it would be good news. ..)

Tried them with no luck, I messed around with settings for a few hours and it somehow works now. Thanks for the help guys! Just need to figure out how to get the cue working in the headphones now

Will look back thru the topic and see if there is any info given ,,to help in figure out whats going on ,, ,,but will need info and maybe screen shots of audio config ,, ,, should be easier to figure out than the mystery win 7 bug
