not familiar with issues pertaining to win 7 ,,just curious as to are you trying to start the software with the controller connected or not ,, also what version of the software have you downloaded and any other info that might help solve this ,,you are steeping out of my knowledge base ,, so info for others might be helpful

If it doesn't start at startup it is worth trying to delete the mxivibes.settings file. Located in \users\[username]\apps\roaming\mixvibes\ (W8 path, but should be some like this in W7) You'll have to go through preferences again (but if you can it would be good news. ..)

Will look back thru the topic and see if there is any info given ,,to help in figure out whats going on ,, ,,but will need info and maybe screen shots of audio config ,, ,, should be easier to figure out than the mystery win 7 bug
