Don't forget to register.
Cross by default runs tracks at normal speed.
Pitch slider adjusts speed. Pitch range setting sets range for slider.
Other influence is sync option. To sync to Master deck.

Try controlling from gui first to exclude MIDI mapping issues.

Soundcard not available/working? Try the 32bit version of Cross (is also installed).

ok Roc, so you say it runs the tracks at normal speed by default??? So what else could the problem be because it was doing this from the time I added thesoftware. I hadn't touched anything. I tried uninstalling the software and re-installing it but I'm still having the same issue. And still getting no sound. #Frustrated

Don't understand how you on one side mention it to run fast, but you don't have sound.

If you register you can download the latest version of Cross from the downloads section. I don't expect it to resolve either of the issues mentioned, but always best to have the latest.

Please post a screen capture of your audio settings in preferences. It should be the local driver. If available the ASIO version of it.
Output 1 should be selected.
Mode best be simple stereo.
Use default buffer size. Can be tuned later.
