Is it possible to remove the right column in order to enlarge content area? And put links of and search field in top of the forum. (between header and categories path)
This will benefit some users. But with all screen sizes and dpi's around any change will have positive and negative effects. The right side contains more menu's depending on a forum users role, so moving to the top is not that easy. Main issue with the search is that keywords match easy with (to) many topics.
