SoundCloud - My mixes keep getting taken down?

Postby elationdjs on 27 Jun 2014, 14:32

Hi Guys,

The soundcloud integration, great idea and Im going to use it. I want to ask users if they have problems posting on Soundcloud. Everytime/Most Times I add a mix it gets taken down for copyright infringement, even with obscure remixes. If this is the case how do so many people keep their mixes up there?

Is there something I am missing?

Well it seems Soundcloud are getting very stringent on the DJ Mixes - Here is an article, it starts old but is very up to date:

Others will take the place of soundcloud, but in the meantime, try posting to MixCloud instead. They are way more DJ Friendly.

Totally agree with this. Not really sure why people upload sets to Soundcloud - Mixcloud is so much better for it!
