Where did you read this?

I didn't read it, I guessed. The first track never imports, the second track always does. The only difference between the two is that the second track is preceded by a newline. So what we have here looks like sloppy parsing of the file, where each track is separated by a newline character before the entry instead of after.
Anyhow, it works, even if it is a pain in the arse.

This rather sounds like a bug...
It used to work without this trick.

Where come the playlists that aren't correctly imported from?
Would you share one with me?

I've no issue at all, without or without empty line at the beginning...

I´m having the missing file issue, after importing my files, some of them shows with a red Cross, I relocated one, and worked, but it´s a lot of work to make it for all the missing files, and the files are there in my disk ... Cross DJ 3.0

Having missing files is not an issue, it's the consequence of the renaming/moving/deletion of some files by the user.

If you have some missing files, you probably either renamed them or moved them. Cross can't guess when a file is renamed/moved.

However, if you open the Missing Track Resolver (from main menu), then relocate a track, Cross will try to automatically relocate all the others. It'll work if all your tracks have a common parent folder.

Hi, I didn´t move the files, it just happened after I imported the files, and was taking a look to the collection (from the just imported files), so it is not an option that I moved the files ...

Could it be that the concerning files and/or folders where renamed or moved from one disk to the other (basically a situation where e.g. (initial) lower case changed in uppercase or vice versa).
This change should have happened between first adding to the collection (ever in the past) and the moment of import, So especially on files that are imported, but actually are there already. (which is supposed to work..)

In the "red Cross" files could you check if there is something wrong with the content of the location-field (longer than should).

If this is the case, select the track and sort on location and check if the same issue appears for more tracks.

When trying to duplicate your issue I might have detected something else that couldn't be found earlier as I had not linked it to import being a potential cause. Not sure if it is the same issue, but would be nice if it is...
