4 Deck view questions...

Perhaps the ability to change the resolution would benefit people with 13" screens like the Macbook Pro.

That would be a reasonably easy workaround for you to program in my limited experience.

Ive come from VDJ to Cross and like the stability Cross brings but I do miss a few things such as the 4-deck view.

If you compare Cross 4 deck to VDJ 4 Deck, you will see what I mean.

I see but don't understand.
VDJ has no waveforms for instance...

You can see how much larger the decks are in Cross and they take up too much space.

No, they only take the space they need.

It would also be nice if decks 3-4 were different colours so that you can differentiate easier at the top of the screen...

Totally different issue, but mostly agreed on this.

Lastly, while we are comparing, I miss the little pull-out side list you can have in VDJ so you can see your playlist and library at the same time. A small niggle though.

Not sure i get it. There seem to be a similar thing in Cross, just fixed (unlike VDJ).

If you display this in a 13" screen, you won't ever be able to read the title of a track ...
Just get a bigger screen !

I cant get a bigger screen on a laptop... The option to remove the waveform next to each deck would increase a lot of space. Just leave the whole track one instead.

The ideal would be to shrink the players by about 25% leaving 50% more space than there is at the moment, without being too small to see. Either that or allow everything to be turned on or off individually.

I have turned off the beatmatcher bar at the top and its given me some room.

I had a good thing and I didnt have visual feedback for the last 15 years of DJ'ing, suppose I dont need it now either...

I can focus on how it sounds rather than matching markers (Which is no fun!!)
