The other thing is that there is no separate section in the Download Center for drivers. I haven't opened the box yet to see what is in there/on any CD supplied. I'm hoping there'll be some instructions on new functionality - what button combinations do what etc. Is there something like this for the Pro?

check the doccumation in the product page ,,the last manual was for 1.7,, saw some areas not accesable ,,probly for updating,,not shure ,,but hopefully a ask wont go un answered

Well, that was very easy to setup!

I didn't use the old Pro so can't really tell you of any differences. I can tell you that the filters are not mapped. I tried mapping the amount knob + shift to them but it would only recognise one of the knob/button functions, not both at the same time.

First impressions are that it is great, everything about it feels amazing - buttons and knobs give exactly the right feedback. The pitch sliders are very slightly more sensitive than I imagined they would be - I'm still not pressing Sync! I'm thinking I'm going to re-map it to something else to stop me from using it.

Connecting my decks and using timecode was real easy too.

i think desonbi remapped the pitch faders for filter knobs,,there was a posting ,,find it later

Stay away from the sync!!

Excellent, looks good and ill be joining you soon, similar set up with my trusty and truely loved Technics 1210's.
