U-Mix Control Sleeve

Postby BennyB on 06 Aug 2012, 16:11

Hey guys. I just tried my sleeve, and I'm ready to give some feedback.

It looks cool, feel soft, but it is not a real protection for the controller.

I'll tell you why: The U-Mix Control Pro is just able to fit into it
I had to strech the sleeve to make the corners go in.
I think this is not quite right.

However it is better than nothing, and there is some room for the USB cable.
I'm a little bit disapointed, and worried how long will the sleev gonna last.

My advice: A little redesign: Make it a bit longer, little less wider, and make put some more foam into the top. I'm bothered the knobs can be seen as humps on the case and the get pushed in over and over.
And final advice: put some "ears" onto it so it can be carried as a cool bag :)

For those who buy it: Don't worry, it is way better than nothing, and looks like, it will protect the stuff. But you actually need an another bag to carry the controller in the sleeve.

[/feedback] :D

Agree ! Would be nice to have a separate closed space for the USB cable.
I don't think "ears" are necessary cause the idea is to put it in a classic DJ bag with a thin laptop, which already fits nicely.
Quand tu as tout essayé et que rien ne marche, lis la documentation.
When you try everything and nothing works, then read the user manual.

With this idea a space for the USB cable is also unnecessary, 'cause you would also put it into the DJ bag :)

Nope, I want the device with their accessories in one sleeve, and differents devices in a bag only if i choose to.

I just point that you can carry the Control pro in a bag, but you have to use a bag if you want to carry accessories.
