How to mix instrumentals with lyrics

Hello,

I just got an idea, I'm a beginner, to mix instrumentals of songs with the words from other songs... what are the words from other songs called? Acoustic? or not?

Also, does anybody know of a site where I can download these versions of songs without the instrumental/bass/beat but just with the lyrics?

You will find a few Acapellas on most Music download (legal) sites
