  :?: I use a 7.1 soundblaster platium fatality ,you have to have the sc in a multi channel mode , :?: 4/4.1,, 5/5.1 :!: the asio will see all the channels avaible, by routing the main out put to one pair of speakers,sc output, and having a second set of speakers outputs routed thru asio4all to the monitor sc/cue, then you will have to determine which speaker output from the back of the computer is getting the signal. thats where you plug in your headphone for monitoring, :!: have used a multi channel sc by itself and have also used the same card and added a second sc to the audio setup to play the headphones thru, so that i can keep the 7.1surround hooked up,  ther are a few posting on sc set up for multi channell sc and also having two sc installed with asio4all   it can be done :!: also the issue with the headphone increasing in soundis because the auido card is routing the cue siginal to the headphones also with the main, have the same thing on mine, except i use the headphone output to play the speakers in my monitor

What is that software ?
How many outputs connectors do you have ?
How many outputs does your software have ?

Snapperhead wrote:Ok hooked headphone up in back of desktop. The headphones and speakers play togther but not seperated for cuing. I would think if you click on headphones on the software the sound would just come out of headphones but it comes out of the speakers a little louder than normal.

It is because you have set the main and the headphones to the same output.

How do I get the headphones to play the music cuing will the speakers play the current song.

Output 1

output 1 -2 selected

Output 2

output 3-4 selected

This mean that 1&2 are the main and 3&4 the monitor, so it is good into Cross.
Now into your software (the one that allow you to put any speakers to any output), simply route 1&2 to where the speakers are connected and 3&4 where are the headphones.
